the race to 'hang brass'

Guys:

Just thought I would let you know, last night at our PMVFD department meeting I was promoted to Captain.

Captain Howell was right, if you work hard, do good, and keep your nose clean you can be 'hanging brass' pretty quickly.

Website with fire opportuinties/information just for San Diego County

The website is called

firefightermedic.com

It was just recently lanched Jan 1st. This site contains tons of information regarding San Diego County. Thing such as list of Paramedic school, maps of ambulance companies, etc. You can also ask questions and find answers. I found out about it throught my FIPT 102 class at Miramar College. I thought it was pretty neat.

Check it out,

Congrats and more...

First and foremost congrats to all of you! It was a very interesting 2 plus months together. I just called Blvd. and I am ready to put in shifts in Feb. I hope all of you are excited and proud as I am. Andrew that was an awesome message man thanks! I got my gear and patches done today, make sure you all get that done. I say we should get everyone on the blog so they can keep in touch. And we should really think about re-uniting every so often. Bobby get on it!!! Hahaha. Seriously guys...be safe out there and make us proud!
